2010 Supersports seat question
2010 Supersports seat question
Greetings. I have a mint condition 2010 Supersports (less than 4000 miles) and I would like to drive her more. I am not a tall man but also not a munchkin as I am 5' 10" but I feel like a little person when I drive this car. I feel like I need an old phone book to sit on or like I am a little kid that needs to be sitting on Dad's lap. Do they make a spacer or something that I can raise this seat up about 2 inches? I am sure I could fabricate something but surely I am not the only one that feels the need to raise the driver's seat. My buddy is 6' 5" and he still has a lot of head room when he gets in. Any advice? All appreciated!

The Supersports seats are carbon fiber with no adjustment other than a manual lever that allows you to slide the seats forward and backward. They put these in for weight reduction.
Ahhhhh let me tuck that tad bit of info away so when I’m ready to upgrade I’ll have it 👍🏾
Ken,
I kind of remember someone else on here awhile back with the same issue, maybe I dreamt it , but I think I recall that he either went to the dealer who then fitted a spacer kit, or he had someone fabricate it for him.
I will search for the thread.
