Upgrade 2006 Flying Spur to 2017 Flying Spur

So I’ve been thinking about this for the last few years but hardly no options available until recent. Has anyone upgraded their Continental Flying Spur to look more updated? I see its more aftermarket parts available for our cars like the Infotainment system, oem looking led headlights, 3 spoke steering wheel conversion, and install the newer body style 21 inch wheels. I know it gonna cost but since the car is paid off may just keep it instead of trading up. Would love you guys opinion on this.

I’ve thought about upgrading the infotainment but the Benhur is pretty ugly. And somehow I like the old school Satnav. It’s much less distracting then apple car play or similar.

The original look is classy although dated. The aftermarket looks up to date with the tech but the buttons seem cheap looking. Tough decisions

My opinion is leave it as is. You have all the tech you need on your phone - no need to hack up your car to provide the same function.

And there are few things as nice as a fully paid car.

Great point my friend. The money could be invested so many other things or ways.

I actually went the other way. I had a "paid for" 2008 Convertible and was frustrated with all the above (wheels, sat nav etc etc) So i purchased a 2015 for a tidy sum to change. Love everything it gives me, plus so much more.

The tech drives me nuts. Its from 2003 and it shows....I dont think I even own a CD anymore! I ordered the NAV-TV option you listed. I like the steering wheel too (came in my 2010 Supersports). My take it do what makes you happy. These are both really easy to do swaps and very easy to put back when you're ready to sell.

I will agree on the outdated tech in these cars. I also did the BEN H.U.R. Only other car I owned that I hated the tech more was a 2007 BMW 750Li.

Need cell phone mount suggestions

Outdated tech? You can say that again. Don't even bother with 19' forgotten Navigation system.
My Samsung S9 cell phone is way more flexible. Waze is unbeatable.
Still like the OEM look and robust feeling controls so will keep the factory head unit in place till it decides to malfunction.

Any ideas for a removable cell phone mount?

The only thing I hated about my 2006 FS was the infotainment
