you sir, are an ****. Living in lockdown with a sick 10 month old girl and looking after vulnerable parents, at the same time as working a 60 hour week from a tiny home study makes doing anything else incredibly difficult.

and then when morons like you mouth off at someone who is trying to help, any motivation I did have to finish this goes out the window. I think I’d rather spend quality time with my family than help out ungratefuls like you.

I just hope the others on here are a bit more understanding.

BUT, please ask the person for an update instead of making a comment like you did, as some see it as an insult, eventhough your comment was to the point with no name calling.

Here it is, the long awaited video. I'm so sorry it took so long, it just wasn't something I could prioritise over family/work life just now.


I've added links to the one i ordered, the seller and extras I needed to buy, in the video description. Hopefully i've covered off most peoples questions but happy to answer any follow ups people have. The seller marked down the value to 150USD so import charges were minimal, and they sent by UPS so it arrived in a few days. They were also super helpful in follow up messages and usually responded within a few minutes when they were online.

Finally, I know i recorded in Portrait. Normally I hate doing that but my main camera failed half way through so i started again on my phone and completely slipped my mind to film in landscape - it does suit the Bentley screen better though

Thank you so much for this video. I do have a few question.

• Does jack mode still work? I was the wiper service position option but I did not see any jack mode option. I assume jack mode was never controlled through the head unit and still works correct?
• Do we loose the xm radio? If so, do they have an XM receiver we can buy?
• Where did you mount the 4G antenna and GPS antena?
• I also have a piano black finish. How close is the new fascia look to the original piano black wood and does it feel like cheap plastic or is the finish good enough where it is not noticeable?
• How do the driver presets work? Or do you loose those?
• Can we use the built in microphone for taking calls?
• Do the searing wheel controls work for taking calls and does the address book still come up in the instrument cluster?

- Yes, controlled through the button on the centre console (press and hold)

- Yes, it's not present. I assume you'd need an XM module to input to the head unit but not sure how well it would integrate. Maybe ask the seller.

I was very impressed, the black isn't as 'deep' but if you didn't know it wasn't factory then you'd never spot it.

They don't work for radio stations etc, but still work on the seats.

Not sure, will test and report back. But the head unit has a microphone built into the front so it probably uses that one with no option to switch.

Not sure, will test tomorrow. In testing I just used the handset or screen controls to pick up/reject.
