this one says for 2003 until 2018 but as you look down the ad it seems to show two different models so presume they can offer both..still look nice but interested to know how well it chats with the old technology if at all as in tpms etc

Top pic ("Furious 7") is photoshopped. I, too am curious whether these are actually getting installed.

 

I bet the smaller screen more oem looking one will work with any model year as long as the can bus adapter is used. I am very tempted to try one but its kind of a gamble. I might reach out to the vendor and see.

 

Some of the folks at audiforums have installed versions of these from the same makers. "liislee" or something like that.

I really like the smaller style with the bezel. I am going to see if I can get that for my 08. The bigger screen looks too aftermarket.

are the wood panel dimensions different in the new cars?

 

like every one says it all seems a bit vague..we could do with a you tube demo of a bentley fitment it may help them sell a few...

theres quite a few fitted to other cars by the same maker but need to know more specifics relating to the conti gt before i can jump

 

This was posted about a month or two ago. It’s short but it’s something.

 

I reached out to a seller on alibaba he said $1268 shipped to ny for android 8.1 4gb 64gb the smaller more oem style with the bezel. They told me it will fit and work in my 08 fs.

i am considering it but its still a gamble and not cheap. Once we know it works and decent we can probably get a group rate a lot cheaper.

 

the picture of the non-descript car in the bottom of the screen kind of leaves things as #fakenews in my mind.

 

Dont suppose you know how the unit works to replace the original heating/system controls do you? Looks like there is a menu bar at the bottom of the screen but is this is Android, then thats some serious customisation of the operating system.

It's often things like putting the wipers into service mode that gets forgotten about lol

 

I’ve bit the bullet and ordered one. Seller was super helpful and sent plenty of videos showing the screens to interact with the can bus (suspension, ride height etc).

will report back in a couple of weeks after it’s arrived and been installed.

 

Looks like two sets of audio inputs, and two sets of audio outputs. This picture was sent be a different seller, if it’s any different on the unit I’ve paid for then I will report back.
