I would definitely buy one of these, but at present they do not do a walnut coloured one to match my car interior.
Shame really as it looks like an excellent upgrade. I do keep occasionally contacting to see if there is news on more colours, but as yet only darker colours available.

You have the same color combo as I do…I think you might want to re-think your color coordination hopes; look at the Bentley switches…they're all black, as is the button on top of the shifter and all your current (outdated) infotainment stuff.

Black will be fine.

My personal opinion? You go lighter, it's going to look wacky.

I didn't go with the Chinese thing, but my black replacement looks ok, would have looked better with a bigger screen tho

But there's no way (in my opinion anyway) you're going to find some brown plastic that will look anything other than sorta weird.

The media player is black, no choice there. Its the facia colour (surround) that has to be walnut for me. I think to change that whole central area to black would look odd, or would it...............

 

I guess you're right, I was just thinking about the radio and bezel, I didn't realize the whole thing had to be changed out to plastic. Interesting. I don't have any suggestions.

I added this to my GTC and am pretty happy. What kind of support have you found for this (software updates, community support)?

I am finding the AliExpress chat lacking. I have been trying to get help changing my AC controls to Fahrenheit from Celsius with no success.

So you changed the car icon yourself to that white GTC with the gold/brown hood? Is it possible to use a PNG of your own car, with transparent background?

How do you guys control the adjustable suspension with those aftermarket units? Don't see a button for that....

 

I didn't take any pics during the install, but it was pretty easy for the basic install. I want to add a backup camera and that is going to be a bit more tricky as it appears I am going to have to remove the back bumper to mount the camera.

Here are some pics (taken in a dark garage) to answer the new questions:

Spofity = Yes
Suspension = Yes, via menu
Car Icon = There are three Bentley's to chose from, I liked the convertible red for my car. I believe you can upload your own pics, but I have not tried.
Neil's YouTube video probably will give you a better look at how it looks.

Overall I am happy with the unit. My one complaint so far is lack of community support that I have been able to find. My technical questions have been asked to the seller via the AliExpress chat and that hasn't gotten me very far to date. My current issue is the inability to change the AC control settings at the bottom of the screen from Celsius to Fahrenheit.

 

Try accessing the dev menu using code 3368. You can change from LHD>RHD and also change the temp unit (amongst other things). But not needed any other community support so far. Picture attached (from the vendor, so forgive the quality).




Hi Gary - yes it is. You'd obviously need to tether the headhunt to your phone OR install a data sim in the unit to be able to use spotify.

 

To anyone that has this unit, can you post the output voltage for the RCA’s please? I want to see if your using aftermarket amps what would be going into them.

I am also intrigued with knowing how close to original the piano black paint is. But I suppose it is probably not very expensive, or difficult, to have it repainted with extra gloss, if someone is extra picky? I would guess around 100 USD/EURO, if the paint shop can spray it when they're doing something else in black.

I do not have this rounded rectangular thing on my dash right now ('07 GT), does anyone know what it does in the new unit?

 

It’s a very good match, you wouldn’t notice unless you did a very detailed comparison. You can’t ‘paint’ the same shine, because the factory finish is a polished shine, not a gloss paint.


I think that rectangle is the passenger airbag warning light. If you don’t have it you don’t need to worry
