On the offchance that someone with an 08/09 Speed and access to VCDS, ever had any issues scanning their car?

 

Have used a ross-tech hex-can usb cable/VCDS with an 06 and had no problem. Don't see any reason it wouldn't be the same for an 08/09 speed as I think they are standard VAG group OBDII connectors/systems.

Likewise! I scanned an 06 no issues. The canbus wiring is radically different on 08 cars and different again on 09 cars. Also there is a different ABS unit on later cars.

 

I use it on my 2010 gt Speed. No issues.

I have an 08 Speed and VCDS struggles to read the transmission and ABS. Every other module is fine. It can read the transmission and ABS if set to K line mode instead of Canbus.

can you read coding of Heatin Controller. I want to See what is the Standard coding for this Unit.

mine is 0000111. i saw several cont gt some have 0000112 or 0000102. i have ac Problems since i own this car. Maybe they Changed Unit withoud codiing. Please let ne Know

Interesting that you have the same problem! Maybe you can post something to the Ross-tech tech support forum, they think its a fault with my car!

Can you scan the ABS?

I can read mine but only via the K-line interface.

I'd be interested to see what ABS unit you have. HW and SW version etc.
