Riding in the passenger seat (and that’s not often) I notice a little air whistling. Get home and it looks to me like the window is not flush, take a look at the other side and sure enough, it’s not.
Could this turn into a big problem? What remedies can I take to correct it?

have you had any window repairs recently? if both windows operate normally without noise then they will need an adjustment. they never really sit flush because the door glass is on top of the rear glass. its not very fun to adjust. depending on which glass is out the door panel and/ or rear quarter trim will have to be removed. check the settings on the door if they are correct you adjust the rear glass to it. basically you work from the front of the vehicle to the rear setting all side glass. depth is 7.5mm from trim. insertion up into the seal i would compare to the known good side. as far are rear glass tension against front glass i usually use a dollar bill and shut it between the two pieces of glass. if you have solid uniform resistance on the dollar as you pull it out you are good to go compare to known good side as well
So its been like that for years and its something that easily goes unnoticed. Rather than taking it to the dealership and paying their high labor rates, I suggest any auto glass shop, they'll have experience in this field.
