Rear view mirror reverse camera?

Good afternoon chaps,
Has anyone fitted one of these rear view mirror reversing camera's?
I have seen the Auto Vox V5 on YouTube, but the installation on the inside of the car looks very messy with cables visible, which I could not live with.
Perhaps a professional installer would make a better job of it.
The idea looks great, if I could get a neat install would definitely go for one or a similar item. The ones with a separate screen don't appeal as an extra screen would not be aesthetically pleasing I feel.
Any thoughts, experiences or information much appreciated.
Regards,
Nigel.

Do you still have the factory radio in there? What yr is your car?
This is about 3 yrs old.

Try to see if you have the rear camera control module in there. If so just get a OEM camera and it’s plug and play.

Yes still have the factory media.
I was interested in getting the one I have attached a photo of, but it comes in black or mahogany mine is walnut, photo also attached. I am hoping if they get enough interest they will offer more colour's.

Just watched that video clip, thankyou, very interesting, just need to find a similr audio outlet here in Marbella Spain.
Will look into it tomorrow, my car is booked into the main dealer C de Salamanca actually tomorrow in San Pedro for a check up, so will ask them about it.
Cheers,
Nigel.

Hey Nigel,

I have been looking at that as well, but the lack of videos with the system in action in a Bentley has me a bit spooked at dropping almost $2k.

Search the board. A member within the last few months has purchased one and gave a small review with a video. It’s ok but I’m a audio guy so it lacks what I need for a system. I have the BEN HUR and just knowing I can put in a unit that would give me 3 sets of pre outs is what I want. Now if they made this with 3 sets of RCA’s at 4 or 5 volts with the basic functionality of aftermarket units I would consider it.
