Car Covers
Hey people, I need to look for a good, soft waterproof outdoor/indoor car cover.. What are your recommendations and/or company to buy from? I love the form fitting covers that are stretchy, but i dont know how rain/water proof they are. IF theres a thread somewhere on the forum for this just let me know.
Thanx,
Dan

I have one of the form fitting Bentley ones, but really only for indoor use as not water proof.
I use this one (Bentley Flying Spur Todos los años de lujo cubierta totalmente impermeable para coche + Forro De Algodón). I bought from Ebay, cost I think 60euro, I live in Southern Spain, so use it more for sun protection, although it is fairly waterproof. When the sun damaged the first one after about a year, I bought another.
When I know the weather is going to be bad, I have the new one on already but put the old one on top of that, double protection! Works a treat, and they come with a nice soft cotton lining and tie down straps. For the price, a deal I think.
The indoor Bentley one was over 1.000euro!!!
Only any good indoors, but do look great!!
Not so pretty but works, this is with old one on top and new underneath. Use same system for my wifes C Class cabrio.

Not long ago, I got a car cover tailored to my car’s model. It’s the best one I have ever had, and I use it whenever I have to leave my car outside for a night or two. I think outdoor carcovers should be waterproof and let your car “breathe” from the inside. Otherwise, there will be too much humidity inside the cover, and the processes of rotting and rusting might start. I’ve chosen a multilayered car cover that is much better because it does many jobs at once – protects your car from the rain, dust and the sun; lets your car breathe, and helps you to keep it clean.
