Alarm going off randomly

Hi all, before I go digging too far, is there a way to use VCDS to find out what sensor is triggering the alarm?

Mine is going off randomly every few days. Battery is on a minder 24/7.

The alarm sounds for about 20 seconds, then goes off and stays off for a couple of days.

I guess there might be a spider inside somewhere? No sign of rodents. Could be a dodgy connector somewhere?

It started during a cold snap but its mild today and its still doing it.

Cheers.

My car does the same thing whenever the battery would get low, no tender hooked up. In the cold weather it would happen in shorter intervals as the cold weather caused the battery to drain quicker.

I think it was a dodgy bonnet switch. I noticed that the car thought it was open when it wasn't. Gave the bonnet a shove and it showed closed.
