Vac pipes and gubbins.

Has any one taken a look at the engine once removed to see exactly what pipes go where and what they are used for.
Can emission related Gubbins be removed. I took the air injection system off my 911 and it made h huge difference to the engine bay. Who cares if the cats don't warm up as quickly as Bentley wants them too.
I don't have a Bentley exhaust fitted at the rear so that vac line is no use.
Is there a way of simplifying things ?
I have an 08 Speed so I dont think there are many vac lines going backwards.
What are the main systems that use vacuum.
Can the air injection system just be removed or will the ecu,s have to have them programmed out??
Frank.

@Sunnyside Hello Frank,
Being that we can not post pictures in pm, is this what you are asking about in pm ?

And yes the vacuum lines at the rack are an issue, see Silvertones24 thread.

yes. Thats the one. Do the later cars ie 2008 still have that one under the rack. It looks impossible to get at with the engine still fitted?
Thanks for the pictures of the electronic actuators. I guess also impossible to fix or get to with the engine still fitted?
Frank.
