Is a authorized Bentley dealer the only option to get new keys and programmed in for a 2006 BCGT? I am in metro Boston.

There are other ways, but really not worth the hassle, possible damage to the KESSY module, and the equipment (although low cost) that you would need..

Plus certain locksmiths that claim they can clone old used keys off of eBay, are really pulling a fast one, as if you ask them for explicit details of functionality, you will get the run around, and end up with keys that fail to work for keyless entry and push button start, you will need to push the buttons on the fob everytime to unlock or lock the vehicle.

So better off ordering a key service kit from your local Bentley dealership by VIN, the VIN is used for the cutting of the blade at Bentley in Crewe, prior to ordering you will need to provide your Bentley dealership parts department manager a copy of your title and or registration, drivers license to prove that you are the owner of the vehicle, after the new keys arrive you will need to bring your vehicle to the Bentley dealership for programming of the fobs to your vehicle, be sure to bring all existing keys with you at time of programming, otherwise the old keys will be programmed out.

The key service kit is about $560-650 depending on your Bentley dealership, the programming of the fobs is usually $180-300.

Not possible for a locksmith to clone an old key by getting blanks from eBay.
