Its the official Factory/Dealer fitted thatcham accredited anti-theft GSM/GPRS tracking system. It uses mobile sim card and GPS sensors but its subscription based. The tracking fee's are actually quite expensive and these days the whole thing has been sold to Vodafone.

Th ADR stands for Automatic Driver Recognition, meaning the card stays with the driver (usually in the wallet) and the car will automatically alert if your car jacked for example.

Depending on your insurance company, for cars over 50K GBP they mandate a tracker or give a substantial discount for an active subscription.

Its not changeable by the end customer (i.e you and I), Its inside the tracking unit which when fitted its location isnt even disclosed to the customer.

If you want to re-activate it you need to contact Vodafone and pay about 30 quid a month... (i I remember correctly)

Hi rangrov, Welcome to the forum

You can contact vodafone adr navtrak department on 0844 239 0036 if you wish to reactivate the unit it may take them 3-5 days to reassign the sim card if its been switched off.

Please note storing the ADR card attached with the keys is a big no no as the point of the ADR system is to detect key theft.
