I have a 2013 Bentley Continental and was wondering why my music won’t okay from the Bluetooth. The phone connects to the car but won’t play my music. Does anyone have a solution or a part I can order to solve this issue? Thank you guys.

 

I think the bluetooth on the 2013 is for handsfree only, and simply won't let you play music.

There are a number of adapters that are advertised to plug in where the CD player connects. Searching the Facebook group will show you some.

I might be completely wrong, but can't test as I have a replacement head unit.

I believe that its a menu option in the Media setup. I have a 2012 GT and Spotify or anything else streams just fine over the bluetooth connection. You just have to set it up in the menu. Its in the owners handbook/manual.

 

Thank you for the feedback. I tried all options and even took it to the Bentley dealer and they could not find the Bluetooth connection option in the menu settings in the dash.

Many folks have used the Grom bt3 for Bentley, which allows phone calls/music. Do have to have the head unit to CD as the source and I can’t recall, but think it replaces the CD player in the glove compartment, so you lose that feature. There may be a cable to allow for both, but it’s been so long I don’t recall. Will also need to run a microphone wire. Easy install and about an hour from what I recall. Good sound do. Not sure what is being used for its DAC or the Bluetooth bandwidth, but my hires files sound pretty decent streamed via iPhone using a hires player.

 

I have a 2013 GTC and my understanding is that the iphone bluetooth to Bentley is only for hands free phoning, no music.
The set up of the iphone to the Bentley is kind of convoluted, but there is a good youtube video on the set up of the phone.
