Ben-HUR installs again

We are getting there! Unit had to go back the factory for repair, but now is working as it should.

However, the head unit is mis-wired to the rear outputs, not front, so none of the sat nav announcements or phone call via car play work

Anyone know how much space is likely to be behind the DIN unit? in theory I should be able just to pull the head, connect it correct and re-install it, but I have a nasty feeling that the Ben-HUR and the head have been rather closely cabled together. So wondering if I might be able to squeeze a hand down the back if I remove the speaker grill and the wood trim.

Any thoughts?

Not much chance of getting your hands behind from above, you will need to pull the whole Ben Hurr unit out.

Thanks! That saves me a job. The guys that put it back in have already volunteered to come round one evening and sort it out, so can't say fairer than that!

Did it myself this evening. Very simple. Trim remove to get the speaker grill. Bit of a shove to get the wood off then 4 screws.
