Looking to refurb my Continental GT Speed alloy wheels. Does anyone know what color code they are? Appreciate wont get the same as OEM but at least something close?

 

Not sure, but I think I recall reading somewhere these may be the same as BBS ‘hyper black’

Thanks, yeah they look very similar.

Any ideas of the actual color code as struggling to find hyper black? Other topic had same issue with no luck...

P.s. not a big fan of dip aerosols...

 

I haven’t seen the paint code anywhere, but have read at the vw/forums that a thin coat or coats of Wurth silver over a glossy black base coat is a close match. (And clear on top, 2 coats)

Haven’t seen or tried though. The dealer or a wheel refurbishment vendor may know better.

 

I don't know the paint code. My first generation continental speed tires were blacked out and I had to fix one. The shade they put on it was different (some shades lighter) and I had to paint the three remaining wheels. I might like the end result better than the initial one, but we could never figure out the code.

What color did you use to paint the remaining 3 ones?

 

It's very beautiful.

 

I really don't know, I sent them to the same specialist and he paint them. In Spain is very famous a specialist on wheels situated in Portugal.
