Curious if anyone else has purchased or made their own blacked out main grille for 2003-2008 Continental GT. I was looking at the carbon fiber hoods and not sure how good that would look with the chrome main grille.

 

Here is the grill on my car. 2006 GT in Texas US.

 

Thats cool with silver, and smoked tail lights. But icons.... it is better without, IMHO

 

Take it out and try a can of plastidip. Maybe 2 cans at most and for $10 if you don't like the look just peel it off

 

Wags did you buy that grille or paint it yourself?

 

I bought the car last year and it came with all the front grills in black. It looks like it was done by Bentley, I did not see any paint or body work in the service records. I blacked out the hood and trunk emblem with gloss black spray because the chrome was chipping away and they looked pretty beat. I used a black for VW touchup.

 

I live in Texas, US. Showing that you are Army airborne ( jump wings) gets you some respect down here. LOL
