Hi, My 2004 gt has chewed up a window regulator wire and the plastic wheel/sprocket that attaches to the rear of motor. Is there a repair kit for our cars? Thanks in advance.

Reason: Spelling!
Thank you DarkGreen. I have one of these kits on its way hoping the wheel is the same. I never thought about having the cable remade as yet I always did for kit cars years ago. Thanks for the tip.
Don’t go buying the Phaeton repair kit! The cable attachments to the wheel are round the wrong way and cable lengths are wrong. Fail. Flying spares won.
Check out posts #3 and #6 on resolving a DB9 problem which may be similar to yours. https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...im-panels.html
Apparently Power window repair may be able to help you out, but they are across the pond from you...
No affiliation with the vendor...might be worth an inquiry?
They list Bentley GT window regulator and power door lock repairs on their website.
Good luck!
DONL your post link has spurred me into fixing it myself.
Dark green, I too realised that the vw kits are for the opposite side to a Bentley so have ordered the right hand side from a VW Polo that is identical to my left side at a cost of £1.99 delivered. The Phaeton repair kit was £12.50 delivered. If the long cable in the kit is long enough I will use it and crimp a ferrule or weld a ball on. I’m not sure why I didn’t go down the hotrod fix route in the first place seeing as I restore C2 Corvetttes. Will take some pics tomorrow. Many thanks.
