A couple months ago the 2-tone horn lost half of the tone. I guessed it was something as simple as a loose connection on one of the horns.

I had the car in the shop to install some low dust brake pads and had them take a look at the horns while it was on the lift.

According to the tech the horns are difficult to access and would take a couple hours of labour to get to them.

Any insights / tips on accessing the horns?

I don't have a lift at my home garage.

The horns are the easiest part to access, like in 10 to 15 minutes, either drop the belly pan, or the right front wheel well liner, not a couple of hours, or even one...

That looks like a single element horn. Aren't there two of them?

Are they located by the right front wheel on a Left-hand drive model?

 

There are two horns there, just hard to see the other, my vehicle is a LHD US model, and my horns are on the passenger side, right front.
That is my vehicle pictured in my previous post.

Thanks for the additional info Johnny. I'll remove my front right wheel and liner to get a better look in there.
