I just purchased a 2006 Flying Spur Mansory package Continental GT! 56,250 km. The nervousness is because I did it sight unseen...an epically foolish thing to do...in a Japanese auction. I'll include some pics so you all can congratulate / roast me as you see fit. I saved a huge amount of money and I trust the Japanese auto auction company to surprise me with something expensive that is broken and hidden. They aren't as bad as the US auto auction companies but everyone is trying to make money of course. I'm fortunate to live where mechanics have extremely cheap labor rates and usually break more than they fix but I have found a very good family auto repair business that are VW experts (father is a German immigrant) although they have no Bentley experience to speak of. It will take a few months to ship the car to me...along with a 2010 BMW Activehybrid and a 2009 Mercedes S550...I can fit one more car in the container so have to find another one. I plan to keep the Continental for myself and sell the others at a profit to pay for everything. I'd like to thank the people that run and contribute so much extremely valuable information in this forum. It makes stupid decisions like this seem possible and I expect them to continue supporting my stupidity for as long as I can afford it.
