Whether it's locked or unlocked, when it's in my garage I tend to hear this noise quite often. Just bought the car. It's a 2018 Bentayga. Does anyone know what it is and should I be concerned? Or it just a Bentley doing Bentley things?

no idea what it is - would say something wrong with evap maybe - but is just a blind shot? too much metalic for being sure on evap but who knows. strange anyway.
broken electric parking brakes motor with doing some shorting and want to apply? another shot and again - too much metallic.

Might want to run a scan and see what's happening. Maybe a firmware upgrade would fix it.

Is there a way to run a scan on my own? Is there an app I can use for Bentley with a bluetooth OBD plug? I stopped by the dealership yesterday and they said it's $400 minimum just to roll it into the shop to diagnose anything. Right now it's not causing any problems and no lights on the dash.

This is the one you want:
https://www.ross-tech.com/vcds/hex-v2.php

You have to connect it to a Windows laptop but it lets you do WAY more than then the BT dongles. Most of us here seem to have one. Just got one for my B-day last month!

Thanks, Bruce! What software do you download on the Windows laptop to use with it?

Thanks! Does it let you do any cool custom coding with it, or just read codes and reset oil change light?

Basically, almost anything the dealer can do. A very powerful tool!
