I am not sure why sazam was saying to short the compressor to run, if just to test the compressor, then yes, you can add power to the compressor to test it itself, BUT, you should remove the black air supply line from the valve block, as putting power to the compressor doesn't operate the valve block, therefore, the vehicle will never lift by shorting power to the compressor.

I just watched your videos, the compressor video I can not really here anything, was the engine running when you made that video ?

The white smoke video, question, can you tell if it is steamy / wet when you place the palm of your hand in the flow, does it smell sweet, OR, is it dry and smells oily ?

How are both the oil level and coolant level doing, did anything happen to the vehicle prior to this that you have not told us, what is some history of work on the engine, or issues that had happened ?

hey @Johnny Hotspur GT - i suggested to short (power directly) the compressor just to confirm it is not deffective. Unfortunatelly there are no vcds scans so can only suggest direct electric checks like fuse relay or direct powering.

You are absolutely right the powering will not pump the airsuspension because of valveblock not open. My intention was only to get answer if the compressor really works - as @Shaqovic is saying it does not run - and looks like we still do not have firm answer yet.

I am again 95% sure there are faults in the module and until he will not clear them - system wont run.

 

It was a really interesting topic scratching different surfaces but looks like @Shaqovic dissapeared. If you solved issue pls report how fixed and actually what was the problem.

tell us if you were able to raise the car after errors clearance - you should - unless there are still issues/errors visible in vcds or are other issues not visible in vcds

pls put there 2nd scan after errors clearance

tell us what problems left after clearance

i see that at least some of the errors are because of battery depletion - you need to charge your battery

As Sazam stated, the second scan after faults cleared, BUT, not cleared by auto scan/auto clear, you have to actually go into each address and clear each one by one, so go into 34 and read faults, then clear them, do not use the clear all faults.

As number 34 showed in the scan, the system is off.

I have managed to raise the car using vcds, took me a while but succeeded at the end.
Regarding the smoke, a friend of mine works as a mechanic but not with big engines checked the smoke and confirmed it’s oil burning, and suggested to look for vvt solenoids or pcv as he said this could be the problem.

I remember when I started the car first there was no smoke at all, switched off then turned the car on again and I heard a blow sound inside the encounter like a balloon exploded and immediately smoke started to come out.

could his diagnosis be accurate, if so would you mind guys to instruct me how to check them/replace needed parts.

oookkkk - so you raised the car using vcds.

pls tell what you did?

cleared errors as we suggested and only this was done and it helped?

no errors come back? no leaks no leveling sensors issue?

you did the output tests successfully?

you forced via vcds to raise different corners?

now the suspension is fully operational? (works with buttons? car is fully leveled? no errors on the dash?

sorry for the delay, I was going through many things recently
I just checked the car again, first try to start the car it shows immobile activated, car starts and cuts in 2 seconds, tried second key and it worked successfully
I checked all spark connectors and no evidence of oil in the connectors( did not remove spark plugs)
double checked all wires, all good so far
the smoke is still coming from exhaust of driver side only, scanned via vcds- image attached-
exhaust temp sen 1 p0545
Could this be causing the grey smoke from driver side ??
if yes, is there any cross reference part to replace it cuz on flyingspares it’s quite expensive.
and would need help to resolve immobile activate thing 😅 I would assume I need to visit a dealer 😒😒

I haven’t drive the car to test the level height, car parked in my garage and no I can’t change level so far, vcds helped me to level the car and output test managed to test pump and 4 suspensions, no leaks detected via soupy water test after rebuilt.

 

Any suggestions guys 🤔

after I forced the car to go up and down via vcds, and then drove it a while, now it changed the level 100%, upon scanning via vcds it shows level is not learned, so I guess I must do adaptation with vcds, which I need the security access for this ( any help appreciated)

one strange things is happening while the car is running which is overheating, coolant cap was replaced oem and attached pic showing parameters for coolant, yet the car is overheating even when thermostats os functioning as in the pic attach.
hopefully is not the head gasket needs to be replaced
