No speedometer

Leaving work today and I notice on the highway my dash looked like this. The car stays on two tenders and I really dont drive it that much. Im going to try to put it on the Ross Tech but if anyone has any insight, please chime in.

@TeamJones1962 ,
Being that the ABS and traction lights are on also, maybe a wheel speed sensor.

Thanks Johnny…let me start my Googling/searching.

Does anyone have a lead on these? Cost? How hard are they to change?
Thanks

Here is one I see on FCP Euro and if this is the correct one from Bosch vs Bentley. I am not sure if there is an "F" in the part number or not.

Just a note, when I went in to try and see what was available, I found one picture of someone selling the factory part number and from the pictures, could see the Bosch part number, which lead me to the FCP site. I am trying to cross a bunch of VW to Bentley parts and it has been working for many of the nuts and bolts so far, but there may be some small differences on some major parts. (For example the Phaeton Antifreeze reserve has a different number of hoses coming out of it than the Bentley's from the pictures.)

Small update

Ok so I really didn’t feel like pulling out the laptop and logging into RT so I crossed my fingers and put my Autel MD806 Pro (I know I know) on it and came up with some codes. I’ll post on another thread the ones that caught my eye because I know it’s a few that came up because I swapped the radio out.
But here are the ones I feel should be posted here:

I wonder why they have a left and right but it’s the same part number on FCP’s site.

Mines came in today so on my next off day I’ll be installing them.

I think it is left front and right rear are the same and and Right Front and Left rear are the same orientation. Let me know when you get them in if they have a different orientation or if they are interchangable.

I thought the same also. I even went to the links above and they both have the same part number. I’m going to email them in a few to double check.Hopefully Johnny or someone could weigh in on this so I can see if I have to order the other two and send two back.

Hello @TeamJones1962 ,
I think there may have been some confusion in the two links posted by @Mars911, (EDIT, the two links, one for 803 and the other for 804 that Mars posted, somehow became one link, only show the 803, that's why the 928 didn't show up as the replacement for the 804 as the link was meant too.), the two links look identical as to the page they take you too, besides the "804 vs 803" in the link itself, and on said page for the 265007930 at the very bottom, it says, "you may also need 265007928", as they are not the same orientation, one does front left and right rear, the other does front right and left rear.

It does appear that the part numbers 265007928 and 265007930 are correct for your vehicle, so two of each.

I will confirm that I did use the left and right rear sensors off of my spare 2006 Bentley GT suspension assembly on my 2005 A8L W12, one went to the front, the other the rear on the A8L, they had the same 4E0 927 803 and 804 , as the 2005 Audi A8L W12 shares the same .

After looking at your scan results, I would check the main electrical connector at the ABS module for any corrosion, or wires with cracked missing insulation.

Johnny

.

@TeamJones1962 ,
I concur, 2 of these, and 2 of the other.

you want to test if the new sensors will fix the issue or you are sure they need to be replaced do you conciously decided to but them.

why all 4 then?

and how you diagnosed they all are defective?
