Should also add my car is an 07 CGT, 81k miles.
I bought the car this way, it was an incredible deal that I couldn’t pass up even knowing it needed a few bits

After you clear all the codes drive around for a few days and see what you get. Also make sure that your batteries are fully charged as low batteries can cause false codes. Enjoy the car!

gotcha, batteries are full as it sits on trickle charger when parked. I’ll clear the codes and drive it this weekend see what comes back

Cleared the codes, batteries are at 100%. Still getting codes (see pic attached). I did verify the exhaust temp sensors are bad and have ordered those. As far as the others guys have any suggestions or what parts and where to buy?
thanks Again

too much errors which may indicate vacuum leak issue.

do you have any physical symptomps - your car is weak? hangs/delayed reactions on acceleration, floating rpms?

you have to do the smoke test if not done yet.

pls share with us your steps etc to fix the problems - it is super interesting. looking forward to see your info regarding egt sensors replacement

Waiting on the exhaust temp sensors, will keep you in the loop. As far as running the car runs great but at idle you can sometimes feel the misfire, not always but more often than not. After you start to give it gas it is normal.

Ok guys needing a little more help, got the exhaust temp codes for both banks to go away with new sensors. And I had two vacuum leaks both were top plastic hose cracks up behind intake manifold and those have been repaired.

i cleared everything and drove the car for about 40 miles and had the engine light come back again. Scanned with my rosstech and here is what i have

p2563 & 2587
p0300 0303 0305 0308

what should i look at next?

thanks again guys for the help with this

Also one other code is for the brake pressure booster sensor.

I can get a new one but does anyone know what one I would need and I would assume it’s on the brake booster itself. Maybe it crosses to an Audi part or?

thanks again guys

Hello,

Inorder to rule out unnecessary replacement of parts a smoke test is recommended. The listed codes are likely another vacume leak. The cracked vacume lines that you repaired highlight the overall condition of the lines. The "V" lines are brittle and beginning to leak somewhere else. The EGT replacement was an unrelated problem that is typical of these cars of that age...to be clear.

thanks for the response! I’ll get the car up and get another smoke test done and confirm all is tight.
