I'll get more pictures and post them as soon as I can. So far I haven't been able to get the suspension information to come up like it did on the old unit. Since I pretty much take the position I very well could be making a mistake -- I try to dig in deeper and either solve the issue, or document that without a doubt something is broken. So I will check more of the settings and do some more digging around. I'll also see about making sure the can bus interface didn't get knocked loose.

Thank you for all the great information. I am new to Bentley and this forum. I have a 2017 Continental GT V8. Does the unit you installed take advantage of the car's
built in backup camera? Or do you have to install a separate rear camera?

I would recommend steering FAR away from these chinese android-based units.
Its the same unit as the mozart, but a a bit cheaper and android 13/256gb.
I installed it pretty easily, but the unit itself SUCKS. First of all, the rep PROMISED me that the suspension and damper settings are supported via the OEM buttons on the dash...they are NOT. The OEM camera IS supported, but the picture quality is awful, and the unit flickers off/on. More problematically, when you select R - the unit stays stuck there...even when go in D or P, it crashes. Interemittently the unit does not trun off with the ignition, it will drain your battery. It also intermittently causes a low tire fault to appear. I ave reached out to their CS many imes and they want me to be part of their testing program, offerieng to send me some various updates and empty promises. Every time I show them the sceen grab of their rep "William" promising that suspeension buttons are suppoted, they just ignore me for a while.
I wound up filing a chargeback with my CC bc the unit is defective and they dont want to handle it. I wound up sending my OEM unit out for repair. The place that does the repair can also add the android/applyplay adaptor - which IMO is the best solution. So yeah...Lesson learned, skip the chinese android stuff for the bentley. I think in any other car it woudl be fine - but IMO, dropping any OEM integration is a no-go. The cool thiing they did have though was teh CD player was stil supported.
Oh yeah and TPMS was not supported either.

Reason: update
I own a 2013 GT Speed and just installed Apple CarPlay (does Android as well). I did a lot of digging as most of the ones I saw, including the Mozart version and other similar ones, had a big drawback. They did not use the steering wheel buttons and had to have a separate microphone installed. Made mo sense. I did eventually find one that does use the steering wheel buttons - the menu button long press swaps between the Bentley display and the Apple CarPlay display (more logical - no need for added buttons to do that or using one of the buttons below the screen), uses the voice button for Siri (Hey Siri/Siri works well) and uses the steering wheel volume button. In addition, it uses the car's OEM microphone - no need to add yet another one and have to wire it in. In addition, you only need to select AUX as the input and do not have to run a cable through to the multi-media unit in the glove box and plug in there (although see below). It is not necessary.
The vendor is Kremer Sino (yes - in China) and it is available through AliExpress - https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804683272133.html. It is nothing like as expensive as the Mozart units. I did ask Mozart about use of microphone etc., and got this answer: "Unfortunately, Bentley modules can't work with the original microphone, however, we are the only sellers that supply top of the line quality microphone with the module. (Not the cheap microphones that other sellers provide)." I did not buy it because of this and the price.
There is one issue with these add-on units - it is not all plain sailing. They suggest that you can simply add the extra bulky cables and add-on unit behind the original infotainment unit. Will never happen! Had the same issue with a Mercedes. There is simply not enough room. If you watch the video for the Kramer unit you will see that they wrap the unit in foam and simply slot it down into a gap at the back of the area you pulled the original unit from. On my GT Speed that gap was simply not there. There was no way to get the cables and the Kramer unit behind the existing infotainment unit. All is not lost though. I pulled the two main add-on cables through to the top of the glove box - there is a small pop out panel at the top above where the CD/DVD player is. (You can use a wire coat hanger to feed the cables). So in my case the add-on Kramer unit is in the top of the glove box. Works just fine. You will notice that the Kramer unit looks very different to the Mozart and similar units. See photos of the finished install in action on a Gen2. It is set to automatically fire up when I get into the car.
Hope that is useful!
I got my radio fixed and had him add this add-on. It was all great until I did a factory reset of the android (limcet box) part to see if i could improve the audio switching. It wound up knocking the touchscreen offline and I'm still waiting on info from the vendor as to how I can re-calibrate it.
But yes, you're right that there is simply no room behind the radio. I fed my USB cable through to the side port and am considering the same with the box....but the cables are bigger!

Reason: spelling
I did not have any issue with the touch screen being knocked off line. Yes - the other cables are much fatter than the USB cable if you want to route them to the glove box as I did. But they do fit - just! Actually it is more getting the plugs through the small gap rather than the cables themselves. I do not have a CD multichanger in the glove box - there is a foam block in its place. That is where I wanted to put the CarPlay box but so far have not figured out how to get the foam block out! (Apart from the brutal approach!). It obviously does come out as I see it as a part at the Scuderia web site and it looks as though it just clips in. Have not discovered the magic touch to remove it as yet....!
