Front suspension Hydraulic shock absorber

Has any one seen or found a company that just recondition the hydraulic strut.
I have been reading about some companies that just put a new air bag on the strut and that's that.
I wasnt aware that under that air bag is a very good hydraulic shock absorber with an electronically controlled valve to vary the damping rate.
Imo any reasonable diy enthusiast could change a bag but the dampers require some technical know how and equipment??

Have you checked with Arnott? I think they can help you out by replacing the air bag.
