Locked Out Flat Battery boot Access

Hope this helps members with boot Access issues due to a Flat/Dead Battery
The picture is from a Series 1 Uk 2005 which is my Fusebox .... Later models you should be able to work it out from you own fuse box Data
Series 1 USA members it would be the F2 fuse next to it

Get a small /Large 12 volt externai battery ... I use a Power probe to activate the fuse ... But you will get the idea
Open door manualy
Put a live power to this 20 amp Fuse .. Which will then/make enable the drivers door, boot switch to let you in

Nice one.
Remembering to put the neg of the external power supply to a good car ground. 👍
I wonder what the smallest 12v battery would do the trick.
This is a great trick if for any reason you remove both batteries and accidentally close the boot.
