Hey Folks,

Is there a doc somewhere on troubleshooting a non working decklid motor? Lid will unlock, but not go up and down with the motor.

BTW, Mine is a 2015 GT3R:-)

 

Before digging into the motor you might try replacing the struts. It's a 5 minute job and was the fix when I had that issue. A little Fluid Film on the new strut's piston helped compensate for a weak motor.

I hear a motor running.

I did not notice a close button, so maybe mine doesn't have a lift motor and I am hearing the soft close or something?

When it cools down a bit I will go out and check for the button.

Hi Robert,
I was thinking about that, as some have said that the GT3-R didn't come with the power lift and close, as it was removed to save weight, yet, here is a GT3-R being reviewed by Shmee, and it has it, so, maybe an option for that model.
