Hope someone can help?
I recently had to change the RHD sidelight on my 2004 Bentley continental GT.
As I did not fancy taking off the front bumper and wing I did it by removing the air filter assembly and then the throttle body.
Was very hard on the hands but got it done.
When I put everything back together and fired up the car I got a suspension error and could not raise or lower it.
Turned off and disconnected both batteries then reconnected but still the same?
Plugged in the diagnostic unit (Xtool) and there was one fault code but not for the suspension.
Left it for a couple of days and started the car today and got the red error “Car to low visit workshop”
So finally, my question is could I have knocked something loose when I done the blub change? As I remember the only connector that I disconnected was the one on the MAF but I could be wrong.
As to your issue, what was the fault code you received ?
Have you checked the 40 amp suspension compressor fuse in the boot ?
Johnny
The error code that comes up is 14074 ? but when I clear the codes and start and stop the car it goes but I still get the car to low on the dash. Also where is the 40 Amp fuse ? Thanks
There error code you have posted "14074" does not come up, can you recheck the fault code ?
Also, do you have a proper scan tool to scan a VAG vehicle, such as Ross-Tech VCDS, or ODIS VAS 5054, as generic scan tools most often do not give proper results for the scanning of vehicle components other than the engine fault codes.
Or, post a picture of the actual fault code reading on the scanner, as other information or numbers may be displayed.
The fuse for the compressor is in the boot as I previously stated, it is fuse number 6 as shown in the screenshot below.
Also attached is the handbook that will show you all fuses for the 2004 GT.

is the car sitting low on all corners or just one side ?
also have you tried to recalibrate the shock absorbers via Xtools ? As I remember Xtools has this option.
