V8S 21" Tire pressure

Just need some recommendations for the best tire pressure for a V8S with 21" wheels, OEM P-Zero tires, looking for the best comfort and all around hwy driving. I know there are a few factory recommendations but looking for real world experience. Mainly use my 2016 V8S for hwy travel.

Thanks in advance

I would use the lowest pressure listed in the manual. I also tend to use the "dirt" pattern on the tire tread-if you see it over the edge of tire it is too low, if you see it inward of the edge of tire it is too high-look at your tread dirt pattern and it will tell you what you need to run for pressure. It sould be pretty close to the lower pressures listed in manual.

My W12 is a bit more nose heavy but 2.8bar all around seems to work with 21". You might be able to go down to 2.5bar but not much less, the sidewalls are narrow and the tire will eventually deform. Currently using Dunlop SportMaxx, switching over to either Michelin Pilot Sport or Continental PremiumContact next.

Not to hijack the thread but the Michelin's will give you the best ride.

That's maybe a question. I just switched from Michelin to Conti's and the Conti's rider better, quieter, and handle as well or better. Biggest plus is they don't throw as much sand or pebbles as the Michelins. Tire Rack also picks the Conti's over the Michelins, the 4S's have been around a long time, and I think Conti has passed them, so we'll see if Michelins going to up it's game with a new performance tire.

Good to know! I got hooked on Michelin in 1973 and have never bought anything else. Last time I had Conti's was on a new Mercedes many years ago so maybe they've upped their game.

I was like you, I've been buying Michelin 4Ss since they came out, then the last time my son mention the Conti's and I looked into some reviews and thought I'd give them a try and I've been impressed. The Michelins are still a good tire, but they aren't the only tire now. I did not mind that the Conti's don't throw so much sand and pebbles and bring much less onto my epoxy floors which is a huge plus.

Not very likely. I've had Pilot Sport 4:s on some cars lately and while they offer great wet and dry grip, ride isn't really one of their strengths. Nor is that of Conti SportContact 7's either but I'm planning to go with higher 40 profile PremiumContact 7, which roughly matches the PS4 dry grip and exceeds its wet grip while being quieter and slightly more comfortable.

Pilot Sport 2/3/4(/5) used to be the tire to go for for a long time but Continental seems to have raised the bar recently. I'm not familiar with the newest offerings from GoodYear, Pirelli and others but as Bentleys are heavy grand tourers, the combination Conti has come up with seems like a very nice compromise.

I agree, I am not happy with the Pirelli's, I run the Michelin's and Conti's on most of my cars.

Hummmm! I am not much of an expert but went from 21” Pirelli to 22” Pirelli P Zero (PZ4) Considering the Michelin 4S cost considerably more and the Continental Conti cost considerably less, I’ll take the best of both worlds.

Not sure I understand what your trying to say here. That the Cont's being cheaper and better is a win-win? Or that Pirellis are the best of both worlds?
If it's the former I wholeheartedly agree, if the latter I wholeheartedly disagree, Pirellis leave a lot to be desired when it comes to tire quality-they must almost give those things away to the OEM, to sucker the OEM to make them the factory tire.

Like I mentioned, I’m not much of an expert, and thought the Pirellis would provide the best of both worlds, ride quality, cost and durability. Based on other responses it is clear the Pirellis are not the tire of choice for these cars, despite the fact my 17 GTC Speed came with Pirellis. I’ll run them to the ground before switching.

This is somewhat subjective, but I've been disappointed by Pirellis so many times that I tend to avoid them altogether nowadays. Michelin Pilot Sport series are always a safe choice, Conti Sport-/PremiumContact have excelled in magazine reviews lately and GoodYear Eagle Assymmetric 6:s are almost universally liked. There are quite a few decent tires available from mid-tier brands like Kumho, Hankook and Yokohama but as we're talking about Bentley, skimping on tires is not a good idea.

Nailed it, this is the correct answer!

One other thing that should be noted is that some of the performance tires are WARM WEATHER ONLY, so if you plan on driving your car in COLD WEATHER(Typically below 40 degrees, but definitely below freezing), make sure you check the tires for any cold weather warnings before you purchase. Probably need an ALL-SEASON tire spec for cold weather driving!!
