A good example of why to change the air bag/spring yourself if your damper is in good order, it's a shame the commentary isn't in english. It's surprising that some companies are still trying to pass off the minimum possible repair and a lick of paint as remanufactured.

Hmmm, really? I didn't realize Johnny spoke Russian (as in your video). He is quite the man of mystery.

 

No personal swerve intended, I was just biting my tongue/fingers as how to respond, as it's just what I have said for years.. such bs in plain English.

This was my whole argument with ARE-NOT (as I call them), as their use of the word remanufactured is totally out of line and boarders on fraud in my personal opinion, as the definition of remanufactured in to totally bring the complete unit back to factory specs as when new, the definition of rebuilt is just what they do, test the strut itself, add a coat of paint, and throw a new air bladder on a used non-remanufactured strut, that's the definition of rebuilt, to fix only what is broken, not the complete remanufacture of the complete unit, their excuse was that remanufactured and rebuilt meant the same in their field.

Exactly 💯 Agreed, just like adding the resistors in their "NEW" units they sold, resistors to fool the suspension control module as their "NEW" struts had no active dampening, only a fixed rate valve.

I may be a "Man of mystery", but I speak no Russian, maybe a bit of Italian if I get back to studying.
