Flying Spur Third Brake Light

Hi guys. My 14 spur has been having an intermittent fault message on the dash since about feb 2025. Every few weeks or so, it would say "Check Third Brake Lamp" and the actual light wouldn't be working then. However , it fixes itself while I'm still driving. No message, and the light works. Since yesterday, the light hasn't been working at all, and the check third brake lamp message is just there. I wanted to know if this is a big job to get done, as I've seen other threads saying that the windshield needs to come out or the whole rear seats/parcel shelf need to be removed. That was a first gen fs, and mine is a gen two. Would it be any different? Thanks in advance.

Just guessing here but since its been intermittent, I'd start troubleshooting by looking for a loose connection in the wiring.

That’s what i was thinking too. However, back in 2022, both my taillights started acting up similarly. Until one day, they just didn’t work. After replacing them, it was perfect.
