So I am looking for a bit of help........does anyone have a broken tail light that I could cannibalise for a socket off the indicator turn signal embedded in the taillight since I broke mine fitting too big a battery!! I think its boinded into the housing but I have managed to get the broken part out.

I have smoked rear taillights so dont want to have to purchase a pair of tail lights

I would ahve uploaded a pic but cannot get uploads working still.

Please try restarting your phone if so, or the same for any other.

As to the turn signal and fog light sockets, they are not bonded to the taillight housing, as they are halogen bulbs (21 watt), the piece is a Koito 0138Y, but I only find one, but it's just a blue box without the actual piece showing, and Google says that part crosses to a Volvo turn signal part, still no luck, the Tyco 1337704-1 numbers come up as "end of life" and or not in stock...

So, if this piece as pictured in my hand is what you need, drop me a pm with your information and I'll put in an envelope and send it to you, I have two, one is for the foglight, the other, the turn signal, I believe that they are the same, but will double check.

From online search for the part, Alpine has one, but also with the module, so $295.... ouch.

I use both the postcard icon and the "Manage Attachments" tab, but every once in a while I get stuck also, so I restart my phone and all is good, others have said it was their internet service provider, or being blocked from certain countries, so they would use a different server iirc.

That was from an ebay advert but essentially thats the part I broke..... I have the grey housing on the end of the 2 wire cable all ok, but thats it. I will take a pic in 2 mins of the end of the cable socket and if thats what you have there @Johnny Hotspur GT I would be absolutely ecstatic!!!

eBay may help with the light fixture problem with a scrapped tail light.
