Battery Drain - any ideas and whats the check process
So I have got the Ancel BM200 modules running on "House" & "Starter" battery. These are so useful for so little money.
I have read a lot of threads on here, but never anything definite about what its likely to be for a drain or how to diagnose it easily. I have new voltmeter and tester for earth checking too.
Starter battery: Wet Lead Acid and is showing 100% charge, and was starting car nicely.
House battery: Currently replaced failing AGM with Lead Acid Wet battery but have a new AGM on order. It did drop to 2-3v but a full charge over 24hrs took it right back up to Full.
What the monitors show me is that after 2-3 days general use or no use that the House battery is dropping down to 75% from 95-98% after a good charge. Both are mains conditioner charging ok or alternator charging too, so I don't think its the alternator. Starter battery still sitting 100% even after 3-5 days and I have driven it over the 3 days 15-20mins at a time to a few places.
Is there any good processes to test through, other than the cables at the terminals? I have ran across all the fuses and they seem fine at the house battery section. I don't believe there to be any probs at the Starter battery side but will check. Nothing is being left on, and my only real faults are the KESSY ground issues which stops my keyless entry working, and my window switch fault in my drivers door. Both are going to get checked in next week or so, as Bentley MD new keys being ordered. Want to get the KESSY cleaned up before having to get a new one.

The KESSY stays in "live" mode when it senses your key. I wonder if there's something about the ground issue that's keeping it in "live" mode?
You really need a clamp type ammeter to find a vampire drain. Clamp it on the battery negative cable, and then pull fuse after fuse until you find one that drops the ammeter reading.
