does the 08 335 6speed coupe come with LSD ?
i cancelled my S5 order, and im considering the 335 coupe.

i would only consider the car if it had an lsd...

 

don't think so.. BMW only puts LSD on M cars these days.

I THINK you can go aftermarket for the LSD on the 335

 

i think quaife makes one..
BMW has started making their own "performance parts" (SSK, sways, suspension).. who knows, they might come up with one after the M3 is released in the US!?

 

I think the aftermarket quaife (spelling?) lsd costs around $2,500 if im not mistaken.

quaife does make one for the 335 but it hink it only fits teh first year of the 335s since i was told that new models u could not for some reason .

 

BMW recently started welding some metal pieces in such a way that it is impossible. Apparently the first 8 months of production can take the aftermarket LSD, but not cars built in the last few months.

The 08 will not have LSD, nor will any future year 335i. Buy an M3.

335i is nice, but the new ones cannot get an LSD and what's the point of that power (potential) if you're a one-wheeler-peeler?

I'm not warm to the S5 either, but oh well.

why, whats wrong with it? it looks hot! i priced one out yest and came to 56K, not too bad. i bet a full exhaust, chip and intake will get you to 400 hp too! interior is top notch. exterior would look good with a drop and some bbs wheels.

 

I just drove a 335xi coupe today...and it was specacular...the steering is acutally really heavy, the car feels more planted, and it TAKES OFF like a ****...its amazing
