Any other clown shoe owners here?

Does anyone know a permanent fix to stop the diff tearing the car apart. Ive heard of the Butt Strut, various bushings but what can be done?
Mine is in for some major surgery soon.

So there are definitely some fast ones roaming the streets. My dad has an '01 Z3 Coupe 3.0i with 8,600 miles that I've been trying to convince him to sell, since he never drives it.

Contact a gentleman by the name of Randy Forbes, he is based in Ohio. He sells a kit that you weld in to reinforce the rear and changes from a single ear diff cover to a dual ear diff cover from an E36 M3, the difference that it made in my car was amazing. I did take me about 50 hours of labor to install on my own, but I have heard that you can send it to body shops and have then install it for around $2500.

It was a rewarding car to drive and own. After that, my brother's 500whp 993TT with no traction control feels very safe

I don't know what you are talking about.... I have never spun my car when pushing it.... Seriously though,, it is fairly twitchy, I have been told that a butt strut and IR Engineering subframe bushing will make it handle like a different car

So while the MC doesn't spin on its own, stable handling wouldn't be its forte and that willingness to change direction is precisely what makes it exciting to drive. If you've never gotten it loose before find a parking lot and try it out. You'll see what I mean
They're fun cars for sure.

Although mine is not the original z3 m coupe I longed for in high school I think my z4 m coupe has the same hooligan character as the original m coupe. I was thinking of purchasing a 02 s54 m coupe last year when I bought my z4 m coupe but since I am still in college I need a car with a warranty. One day I will add a Phoenix yellow 02 M coupe to my garage!
here are some pics of my z4...
