Hey fellas,

Got myself a little christmas present. The X5 4.8i with sport package in Monaco blue with Tobacco interior. I've only had the truck for two weeks and already I have the mod bug. For starters I will be tinting front windows and I would like to get a nice set of pedals.....I was thinking AC Schnitzer. Any other suggestions? I'm also looking into doing the OEM aero kit. I think it needs it...too much flat black going on with the bumpers.

Does anyone happen to have pics of a blue X5 with aero kit? Please post or pm. Thanks

Congrats on the new X5... great choice! If your X5 turns out anything near your GT2 it is going to be an amazing machine. I am not sure if you remember or not but I went on a drive out to jones beach last spring with you and a bunch of other 6speeders..... I still am telling my buddies the story or how you rocked that SC vette that was stocking us when we left......Legendary!

 

Hey, whats up yeah I do remember that. That was a good meet. I'm definitely not going as crazy as I did with the GT2. The X is a 2 year lease, not worth putting the money into. I just want it to look a little different from the average X5.

 

Hey RCNJ: I just noticed you're from NJ -- can I ask what dealer you went with and what kind of deals they're offering on the new E70 X5s?

 

jubu- I bought it at Park Ave in Maywood. I did a 24 month lease with 15k miles per year. I gave $2500 total out of pocket and my payment is $1k even. This also includes tire and wheel insurance and the msrp was $72,670.00. This was one of the last 07's left so I got a better deal. If I would of bought an 08' I would be paying probably almost $200 more per month.

 

the x5 4.8 is my new favorite sav. they are sooooooo nice in person
