I've done it... The big "Don't do it" of automobiles. I've mixed Japanese with European. I installed the Carbon/ Titanium mufflers and running a straight pipe with it. The sound is lovely and I also love the way it looks. I'll post pics in the morning when We're rotated toward the sun.

Nothing wrong with "mixing". Wait until all the new JDM stuff gets released for the M3. I think there will be more mixing to come...

I have the same setup on my Evo 9 and it sounds great. Can't imagine how it will sound on an M6 though

Hi Goodmedicine, HKS make amazing products we run some of there BO, DV, and turbos.
Did you do the header swap? It made big difference with the m5 and m6s that rolled through our doors. BTW M6s are hot!

First of all, that thing is a knockoff. Second, its not even a knockoff of the same exhaust. GoodMedicine got the HKS CarbonTi, not the HKS HiPower.

I do not know about the exhaust note produced but I'm sure it would be intense. This is your car and all but I do not like the look for an M6 or for that matter an M5. It does not work for me, maybe I'm too old.

they look just fine. the only thing that is questionable on your car is the red/black roundel. not a fan.

 

You exhaust looks exactly like my neighbor's exhaust on his Civic.... how much did it set you back?

 

Exhaust looks great. don't know why single can exhausts have to be on a civic and the bmw's must have 4 tips. Looks different and i honestly like it. What exact hks mufflers are those?

 

Lol, my bad. Just you tubed HKS on you tube and posted the first one. They looked similar, and had the same name.

Now, I'm more eager to hear how it sounds.
