What do you guys think?? I know everyone said it would never happen on the E46 and look at it now, but no one has really made a reasonable kit for the M5/M6 which is essentially the same motor with the same compression ration (obviously less 2 cylinders)...

So, whats everyone thoughts... 12:1 compression ration=no go or do we have another S54 miracle on our hands that can handle 700HP??

Personally, i think it will be a SC as oposed to a turbo. Not that a turbo isnt possible, but it seems that larger motors do better with SCers....and knowing AAW im sure that is what they are thinking too

A SCed E92 M3 putting down like 650whp would be sickness....

yea true, but this car also has a 12.0:1 compression ratio, there are already cases of this motor being replaced. i think lowering the compression will be something that would have to be done.

And this wasn't the case with E46 M3's.... ??

If the E92 M3's sell as well or better than previous generations, of course there will be FI out there. At what cost, who knows.

Well, if prices are anything like the Amuse/Ericson exhaust, i think itll be A LOT for FI on the E92

I predict 2-3 years before a reliable SC kit is available.

i think it wont be more than 8 months to a year until they do....

the demand for after market modifications will be crazy on this car

New M5 will probably have a twin turbo V10 since there are test mules with such an engine already.

The M5 and M6 are not that old. Look how long it took for someone to reliably turbo a E46 M3. Give it time, and all the Ms will be boosted.
