edmunds just did a test of the 335, 135 and e46 m3, and all three were neck and neck all the way, and in a lot of stuff the m3 lost. had the 135 and 335 not been on run flat tires they would have beaten out the m3 on the handling course too, in which the 335 only lost by .35 seconds, yes, point three five. plus the e9X chasis is world better than the e46 chasis. much less understeer and body roll, thats why the new m3 makes a mockery of the e46 m3.

At this momment i'm still waiting to findout if i will be going to Florida State for school. I am leaning toward a 335 (black in red with iDrive, 19" Neez wheels, coilovers, front Brembo BBK, M-tech kit, Vishnu V3, AE catback/downpipe (once they comeout wiht it). I think with those mods which will prob take a couple months to do ill be pretty happy. I'm just wanting to see the moding ability of the new M3's.

No & yes.
DCT is dual clutch auto with paddle shifters, similar to Audi's DSG tranny. It has one clutch for odd and one clutch for even gears (7 speed), so the next gear is always ready to be thrown in. It's much smoother and lil bit faster than SMG.
