We got invited to a launch party the other day and the dealerships here already have some on the floor. Of course they are already sold. Looks much better in person IMO

 

Do they have the V8 TT?

 

I rode in the back seat of one today... MUCH roomier than it looks like it would be from the outside and much better looking in person (even if it was a hideous color exterior). I wish it was the V8TT but the smaller motor didn't feel like much of a slouch either... my bro was with me who is 6'1 and he fit comfortably in the back seat as well. Lots of leg room but he was about as tall as you could be headroom wise.

 

^on another note at the dealership today I think I fell in love with a melbourne red M3 sedan... WTF I rarely like red cars but they had a red and a black sedan and I liked the red more... maybe i was on something though because I also was VERY tempted by a loaded up jet black 135... it was a hell of a day at the dealership, I can't believe I escaped with all bank accounts fully intact.

 

i drove the v6 today, pretty peppy, my buddy is waiting on the twin turbo one

definately looks better in person , the only thing i noticed was the blind spots while backing out of the driveway or maybe its the fact im just not used to that slope/smaller window in the back

great auto, definately cant wait to drive the " V8" TT model

 

Saw the X6 in person and LOVE IT

 

Isn't a V6 also a twin turbo?

 

right the V-6 is tt at 306hp

the 4.4 tt is what my buddy will get 407hp

All I can saw is "WOW." Took the X6 xdrive3.0i out for a 70 mi round trip drive on Thursday and again for a shorter drive on Saturday. I had the previous model 2005 X5 4.8is which just rocked. This V6TT X6 is nice. I love the coupe lines, the interior--this SAC is well-built. The handling is nothing like my X5 but it certainly has the power. I can't wait to drive the V8TT version which will be a 2009 model (expected in the Fall). I will replace my 2008 335i coupe with then when it arrives. It will be interesting to see all the iterations of the TT BMW will put in their entire line of cars. Hope they leave the Ms alone though---i am sure they will. My M6 is resting easy after a great afternoon of driving to, no messing with TURBOs on the M please. SaleenX--ur right on the money dude about the X6. V8 power!
