New guy (56k slight warning)
Well I can tell you that (atleast in my experience) is BS. I had a JB2 on mine and I blew a turbo in about 1k miles. So i'm pretty pissed about that, but i'm mainly just wanting to get into the M3 for the car it'self, suspension, bodywork, CF roof, engine. I'd rather have a car thats built more for the track than just a straight line car.
Well I just found out it's going to be atleast 12k to get my car fixed as is right now, that is unless the head is damaged then that will be about another 11k. I give up lol.
Thanks man and to everyone, and for an update, engine is gone, metal shavings from the turbo's went through the head and made it to the oil pan. Total repair right now is 25-27k. I'm going to go jump off a cliff now... lol. I'll more than likely be getting back into my little e30 318i after I get this car fixed.
