Thumbs up M3 Turbo on the Dyno (0-170mph) Video

While Ardika is out of the country we've gotten more time to dial in the tune on his M3. This video shows one of our dyno pulls from 1st gear to 6th. Each gear was taken to 7,800rpm except for 6th was taken to 6,800rpm. This was all done on 91 octane pump gas (with our methanol injection) at 775rwhp (945hp).

Enjoy.

Holy crap!
Anymore performance specs you can update us on?
Such as a 0-60 or 1/4 mile times?

Traction is currently the issue with this car. We're about to release a widebody kit that allows 345's to be tucked under the rear.

There are no 0-60 or 1/4 mile times yet on the stage 3 M3's due to traction issues. Our own M3 has 345's on the rear and once we get it back from the body shop I'll get some #'s. A "stage 2" M3 did a 60-130mph pull in 6.8 seconds. Here's the log. http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com/HPF750_Stg2VBOX.asp

We do a lot of testing of these vehicles on the dyno and on the street. The dyno pulls through all the gears simulate what a customer would do with their car. It allows you to ensure fuel delivery and boost control in every gear as well as the overall health of the engine under maximum load.

Awesome results for pump gas, i guess on race gas it has over 1000 hp at crank.

Yes it has built internals with lower compression. There really is no lag, it starts making boost at around 2,000rpm even with the 74GTS turbo.

Except for the whole fact of wind resistance and proper cooling, this makes total sense...

I'm guessing the logic is "if we can go from a dig to top speed through the gears, *****-out, and not run into cooling/timing/fuel delivery issues under the sub-optimal airflow conditions of a dyno room, it'll work just fine on the street."
