alpina B7

over from porsche side,saw a blue Alpina B7 @ Lennox Mall Atlanta today .I've seen Z8 Alpina but not this ,looked like a 5 series ,what's this about

A friend of mine has a B7.. Very fast in a straight line, Its got a good 500hp and 515tq but its still a huge 760 and doesn't handle all that well.

Isnt the B7 off the 7 series platform and not the 5? Global had 2 in stock a few months ago... select luxury gets them once in a while too..

that`s correct,the 750i is the base model

I'd imagine its based off the 750, seeing how the Alpina is powered by a supercharged v8. Plucking out a v12, just to put in a v8 doesn't seem wallet-friendly

it`s the same engine as found in the B5 and B6

It is a 750 for the B7. They do not touch the 12 cyl. There are many around in Vancouver.

I really love them.

They are awesome cars but sold like **** here in the US-I think a few dealers still have brand new '07's sitting on their lots.

You are right.


I drove one from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City and it absolutely rips. Set the cruise at 125 and it felt like 65.
