Dinan 3.62 LSD E92 Build!

What's going on guys! This is one of our customers M3 that we have been modding for the past year. The stock diff is a 3.15, we upgraded to the 3.62. Let me just say, talk about waking up the car! Our customer is a road racer at heart. The 3.62 will bring his power band lower which will make the power more useful on the street! He also can utilize his gearing better on the track. The car wants to rev super fast compared to stock. I recommend changing your gear ratio right from the start. Of course HP mods are important but they only contribute so much. When you start to change gear ratio's, then you are talking about a mod worth it's money.

Here is a Vid of Lauch Control on our Dyno:

Recent mods:

Underdrive Pulley
RPI Air ducts
3.62 LSD
SS brake lines
High Flow filter

Thanks guys! Enjoy

Actually, that video was without launch control. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xm43F6JTIoo is using launch control against you. FWIW, I ran an 11.43@116 on the dyno, but that doesn't mean a damn thing!

At any rate, guys there did a great job. The 3.62 diff really unlocks what BMW took out for fuel economy reasons. I can't wait to get it broken in and hit the track in a couple weeks!

Cheers,
Blake

BlakeR-That wasn't my SRT, I think that was Spencer's...I can tell by the headlights....You don't want to run my SRT.....But you already know that! Haha!

See you soon!!!

Perfect mod choice. I Dinan would make a LSD for my 650i. I guess I just need to wait and buy an M6 or an e9X M3.

Thanks! I agree, I love the gear ratio change on any high HP car! Dinan makes a Diff for your 650i.....I bet it would change the whole car! I would do it....
