drew didn't jump on any of our runs... i definitely got a very bad start on that last run with the M5 and drews car, and I think the last couple of runs, we started at a pretty bad speed for my car in 2nd gear, i wouldn't hit boost for like a couple of seconds, lol...but overall, the runs were definitely legit!

 

How did the e90 with full gintani exhaust/tune lose so badly? I thought they were dynoing pretty good???

Call Gintani and ask what correction factors they are running to make the dyno show those numbers. Drew, did you run the Gintani car? If so, how bad was your advantage?

little birdy told me too that gintani used something like a 10-15% correction factor to achieve those #'s

 

Wow, now it is all clear, truly despicable.

No wonder Jonmartin would not run me and I never got a call back from Gintani about going over there to dyno my RPI exhaust.

It was impossible for a Gintani exhaust to be making over 30 wheel more than my car with the full RPI exhaust, yet Jonmartin was going around every board swinging his nuts about his dyno numbers being higher. Of course they are higher when you correct them, but you are only faster when racing on a dyno LOL. Nightriders car is supposed to be even stronger and it got spanked, Gintani cooked their numbers.

This is a clear case where dyno numbers can be and were manipulated, to sell exhausts

 

Nice videos and runs. It looks like you guys had a good time comparing cars. I was surprised to see that the M5 finally pulled past and away once speed got high enough. I expected the M3 advantage to remain, so I guess displacement still counts for something.

...don't mean to thread jack, but who makes the highest pitched exhaust system for the e90/92/93 M3s? It's a great sounding motor, but it seems most of the aftermarket are attempting to make it sound deeper, when I for one, would love to hear a higher pitched (Ferrari 355-esque) exhaust note coming out of that small displacement v8.

Whoever said their correction factors are off should post some proof. First of all I dynoed 310whp Baseline and the CF stayed the same all the runs so unless you have proof then stfu and stop spreading rumors.

If the correction factors are REALLY screwed up then how eactly did I Dyno in the ball park of the stock M3's at the RPI dyno? Infact one guy dynoed supposedly 330whp on RPI's Dyno Dynamics. I still dynoed 310whp so who's numbers would be false?

I thought you were supposed to come up Gintani to dyno with their exhaust on your car and you never did so you should be the last guy talking. What about that whole you were supposed to come up and swap exhaust with their car you never did so quit *****ing you have no grounds to talk all because someone lost a race? Hmm lets see DRIVER has alot to do with it I dunno how well Brian shifts but thats a big factor when going up against a DCT car. Not only that but I did alot better then he did on with less power against Drew when I only had bolt-ons. So that alone tells you what driver has to do with it. Anyway please stop you BS right there saying I never wanted to run you are really tripping ya ok I've done all these pulls but I wouldn't run you lol. Everytime I brought up running your car was being worked on your house was on fire your teeth were getting fixed it was too early in the morning all these excuses yet you have the nerve to say I never wanted to run you! Whatever!! A real race would be a DCT car with GINTANI MODS or a 6MT car vs Brian with RPI mods until then that whole fake HP story is trash. Just like most RPI stuff thanks....
