The "Blackhawk" gets new shoes.
New wheel company CONCAVE FORGED.
Fronts: 20 x 9 (23 lbs)
Rears: 20 x 12 (25.5 lbs), yes I said 12" wide rears. No fender roll either.
Tires: Toyo TR1's
(F) 275/30/20
(R) 305/30/20
The 305 stretches nicely over the 12" rim just like in the GT3/RS's.
No spacers used. btw I do not believe in spacers.
My good friends at Wheels Botique nailed this wheel design.
Great thanks to Ben at Wheels Botique. Great wheels!! Love them.
Here are a few pics of the "Blackhawk". Not to shabby for a 4 year old tough veteran with 13K miles on the clock.
Mods:
SS headers
ASR ECU
ASR intakes
Evosport pulley
ASR Gen. III full exhaust, headers to tips (no cats).
Front Brembo's 6P calipers w/ 380 mm rotors. Came with the M5 when bought used.
Here are a few pics of the "Blackhawk", enjoy

btw, CTS-V lets go for it. The CTS-V with 6.2L and a blower is so proud to just barely inch past the E60 M5 w/ 5.0L NA engine.
Lets put a blower on the M5. GAME OVER. That chrome laiden geriatric looking caddy won't even be in my mirrors.
ESS is coming out with a SC'er for the M5. There's also the G-Power twin SC'ed M5 kit. Hell as much as I do not care for Dinan, their 5.7L stroker M5 (630 bhp) will kick the caddy's @$$. I mean only to make it fair.

For the money it is an okay mod.
Working with ASR we will develop a meth injection (cheap) and will develop some ponies.
ASR did nitrous for the E60 M5 (perfect ECU application) but was a more expensive set up.

With bolt on's, it is faster.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge BMW fan but we should be realistic.
The M5 with a supercharger will walk all over the CTS-V as it will make far more power per psi of boost due to being an incredibly efficient NA motor. But the CTS-V also has a displacement advantage and lower compression from the factory = more boost on pump gas.
It simply comes down to who spends more money, don't think you can't bolt off the CTS-V blower for a bigger one. Add a set of forged pistons, sky is the limit, just like with the M5.
