Smile Wheel Choices for my M5 - opinions?

Hi!

New to this forum, but not new to the bimmer world - I am now on my 7th bmw in 10 years and currently own a 2001 M5 Lemans Blue.

Only a few mods - AA intake, Shark software, stereo etc.. but think its time for some nice wheels...

Am considering going the Forged direction...

Has anyone put iSS Forged wheels on the E39 M5? if you have i would love to see some pics.

The one I was thinking of is the iSS forged Complex 5 in brushed finsih with chrome lip 20x8.5 and 20x10

http://d3wheels.com/ISS%20Forged/ISS...mplex%205.html

or Simplex 5
http://d3wheels.com/ISS%20Forged/ISS...mplex%205.html

or maybe even the Beyern Baroque

http://d3wheels.com/beyern/Beyern%20Baroque.html

The beyern wheels are much cheaper but cant seem to find any pics on an M5 for reference

Any suggestions?

Drop four grand and go with BBS LM's, CH's, RS-GT's or HRE's!!! Strong, light and they look amazing! I ran RS-GT's on my B7 S4 and they were some of the best wheels I have ever owned!

ISS aren't a bad option in a multi-spoke design.......just don't go 20 or bigger with a huge retarded lip and ridiculous offset. keep it clean and simple ..........and whatever you do, DON'T go with a chrome lip!!!

I think these are BBS CH's

LM's

RS-GT's

hmm....those look nice, but i think i am leaning more towards the split 5 spoke. Have mesh style wheels now which are a pain to keep clean...

anyone have iSS forged on their cars? Anyone bought from D3wheels.com before? Their prices seem to be very competitive.

On some applications they look good, but I'm more of a monoblock, forged wheel kind of guy!

Thanks for the suggestions....still shopping around, so many to choose from in the forged world.

Did come across these ones which seem to be pretty affordable (for forged wheels anyway)

http://www.d3wheels.com/ICONZ%20Forged.html

the 630ZR would look good in a 20x9, 20x10 staggered fit in silver or brushed

what you guys think?

still undecided on split 5 spoke or multi-spoke

This wheel would look great... I agree though... BBS make great quality, great looking wheels. Buy the LM's... they look incredible on that car.

Did you strip and polish, or did you chrome plate your stock wheels? Great color by the way!

When I bought the car it already had those wheels on it - they are M5 replica chrome wheels I believe, but really good quality for a replica if you ask me.

There is a company in Sarasota, FL that sells aftermarket replicas of BMW wheels, cant remember off hand what they are called
