So me and a few friends had a drag strip day scheduled this morning at Englishtown and it was rained out and cancelled, we were super disappointed especially me because i had my new drag radials in the trunk looking for mid 11's!! So sitting at the race shop we decided to have a few runs. This srt8 jeep was supercharged and it also had all the boltons headers, throttle bodies, pulley, exhaust, you name it. The car makes 548 at the tire! First run i gave him a dig knowing that on a damp road with big hp and street tires that i wouldn't have a chance against his awd out of the hole. What i didn't expect was for him to pull 5 cars on the launch so i had my work cut out for me, but as you will see i reeled him in up top and to be honest with my slicks on he may jump 1 or 2 cars and then i would eat him up. The second run was from a roll and he had no chance at all. We did the roll race twice and both with the same result.

nice runs, no matter how much hp those srt8's have...they will always get reeled in due to their gearing.

 

The SRT8 is definitely a beast but not setup for top end, the M6 sounds good, is it stock?
