Terrifying test drive

Took a test drive of a 2010 M3 and the salesman is a scca racer. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. powersliding through turns was crazy. showed me the true track potential and how its supposed to be drive. ill never forget the experience. Those M3s are no joke, with the right driver.

I had a similar experience in 1984 with a salesman in a 735. Wow what an experience. He had been through a BMW driving school. We were driving in the Santa Cruz, Ca mountains.

I love that the salesman makes you hold onto the roof. Usually its the other way around hahaha. Must have been nice. A friend of mine has a E92 M3 although I doubt he is going to be drifiting with his car... kind of a pus$. Its all about the driver

I've been to the BMW school and to Skip Barber. Sounds super cool, but No excuse to risk the life of a passenger on a test drive. You take them to a track event if they really want to push the envelope. BTW I love the M3's, very well rounded car for Work and Play.

I agree. I just had a test driver last week that was taking us into tight bends in excess of 80 mph in 25mph turns to show us his "expertise" while putting my dad and I in danger. Driving fast is fun and I'm not saying I don't do it but putting others lives in danger just is so selfish.

That is how u sell a car. When I bought my is-f the salesman did the same, we were drifting through turns. It really showed what the car could do and also made me sign up for a few driving classes myself. And do not worry - the car belonged to the owner of the dealership who gave his full blessing to the test ride.

Screw that. I do not trust my life in the hands of some salesman who has been going to a few driving classes recently and feels like whooing me. Nope not gonna happen. All it takes is a cyclist to be in the wrong place or another driver txting and you multiply that with a car salesman driving at high speeds trying to demonstrate what the car CAN DO on public roads and your dunzo.

I had a blast and he said he would back off if I wanted him to. No harm no foul.

I should have died in a car accident 4months ago so any ***** I did have completely disappeared and I forgot to mention I was NOT driving so I dont trust anyone but myself. 5yrs ago if I was chiming in my response would have been 100 % different !
